What a stunning day in Newport, Rhode Island for Izzy & Chris. They both fell in love with the coastal charm of Newport and decided it was the perfect place to get married (peep their Cliff Walk engagement session here!)
Planned and designed by the incredible Carissa Corsi Events, Izzy & Chris went for a monochrome, classic black and white palette. Izzy wore a show-stopping old Hollywood inspired Stella York gown. It had a timeless square neckline in style 7501, POCKETS, and a detachable statement bow in the back! She featured pearl accents in her getting ready robe, earrings, shoes, and veil. They had a first look overlooking the ocean and among the white hydrangeas before a gigantic set of storms rolled through. Thunder, lightning, 30mph winds, and dumping rain came on and off throughout their portraits, right up until the ceremony. The clouds held off one last time so they could get married outside, Izzy’s dream!
Their cocktail hour was in a chic, coastal beige and white striped tent overlooking the ocean. The wedding party wore all black, and carried all-white bouquets of roses and baby’s breath. The florals were classic whites, creams, and greenery – such a timeless look! Hand-painted oyster shells served as guest’s place cards, and gold rimmed plates complimented the gold flatware and romantic candles. They cut their adorable heart shaped lambeth cake before Izzy changed into an incredibly chic Luciana Corset Mini Dress by V Chapman to dance the night away.
