Museum curator and bride Katie, along with her partner David and fabulous planner Contagious Events, executed a whimsical yet classic New England estate with unique multicultural elements! They had a first look in a romantic greenhouse at the historic Lyman Estate in Waltham, MA, before meeting their fashionable wedding party for photos. Katie and her bridesmaids all sported white dresses of varying styles and carried single-variety bouquets of all the flowers found in Katie’s big bridal bouquet. And of course, white parasols were a must on a hot summer day! They treated their guests with live musicians during the ceremony and a luxe vintage VW mobile bar during cocktail hour. Guests found their seats with mini vintage vases filled with flowers as escort cards, and Katie & David excitedly surprised everyone with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance before the cake was cut!
