2023 was a fantastic year! I had the honor of photographing weddings, elopements, and engagements from New York City to Newport, Boston to Cape Cod, and so many beautiful places in-between.
A few highlights:
Published: I am so proud of my first full feature in BRIDES! It’s the biggest publication I’ve ever been in, and I had been keeping the secret for months and months before it went live. So, so thrilled!
Passport Stamps: 2023 was the first year we’ve traveled internationally since January 2020, and we went CRAZY to say the least! We went from spending the winter in Miami Beach, to Lisbon, then NYC, Lake Como, Switzerland, and London, to Martha’s Vineyard, Florida, and finally Mexico City. Everywhere we traveled, we made it a point to see art there. Museums, street art, galleries… we went on “art overload” and I believe that I have never made better art for my couples than in 2023. Being inspired by new places, new experiences, and ART was truly a key to my work this year.
NEW BRAND ALERT: A turning point for my business! My last rebrand was in 2019, I was just rounding 25, and I felt young, fun, wild, and wanted a brand to match my energy and artistry. I’m turning 30 this year, and especially after the pandemic, I’ve felt more mature, more specialized, more intentional, and have slowed my life and business down to a more sustainable pace. My old brand just didn’t feel like ME anymore! With Grace & Gold executed the vision perfectly – it was a ten month process from signing to launching, and I could not be more thrilled with the results. Coastal elegance, refined luxury.
Get Schooled: My business has grown by leaps and bounds whenever I have invested in education, whether it be in person workshops or online courses. At the end of 2022, I wanted a change, and began to seek one on one personalized coaching to help achieve my goals. I had the immense pleasure and honor of being coached by Molly Carr – is a brilliant entrepreneur, and she helped shape my business and guide my rebrand for now and for the next 3, 5, and 10 years down the road.
