Clare & Andrew met eight years ago writing for the legendary local music blog Allston Pudding. Two cats and a home in Salem later, they planned an incredible autumn Boston Public Library wedding in Copley Square – the perfect venue for a Boston couple who loves history and architecture. Clare spent countless hours at the library while studying at Emerson College, making it a meaningful and iconic Boston wedding venue to say “I do.”
Clare got ready at a stunning Airbnb in Fenway overlooking the Charles River, while Andrew and his groomsmen got dressed at the historic Boston Park Plaza hotel. They shared an emotional first look in the Boston Public Garden surrounded by colorful fall leaves – a must for classic Boston wedding photos. As night fell, guests gathered in the romantic courtyard filled with jewel-toned florals and warm lighting before heading up to Bates Hall – one of the most breathtaking spots for Boston wedding photography with its barrel-vaulted ceiling and iconic green lamps. Handwritten table numbers styled as book chapters and flickering candles added to the magic, and after dinner, everyone danced the night away in the Abbey Room – the perfect ending to a timeless Boston Public Library wedding.
