“Being together is easy even when the going gets tough.“
Sarah and Connor met in 2013 when Connor sat behind Sarah in their organic chemistry class in chiropractic school. Connor was noisily waving the sign-in-sheet in Sarah’s ear, and she angrily snatched it from him. She did not like him. Fast forward 2.5 years, many difficult classes, boards, and life-events later and suddenly they were friends. They took a motorcycle ride to his hometown in rural Kansas over the Fourth of July 2015, and that sealed the deal. That fall, they took a trip together to Colorado, hiked a 14-er, Sarah had a panic attack in the tent, and after she got back home to St. Louis, he called her to ask if she wanted to be his girlfriend. The rest is history!
They moved from the midwest to Boston for Connor’s law degree, and wanted to celebrate with their family and friends from all over the country in this wonderful place they now call home. They exchanged teary vows at Cambridge City Hall, and headed to Mt. Auburn Cemetery for photos. It’s a beautiful, expansive slice of nature that is quiet, serene, and where they love taking walks. No Cambridge wedding would be complete without a quick trip to Harvard Square, where Sarah & Connor toasted with Milk Bar truffles and popped champagne. They waited for hours in the dead of winter for Milk Bar’s opening day, so it was only fitting that they come back on a warmer, much happier day 🙂
