On the wedding day, for the first Saturday in 15 weeks, the sun was SHINING with not a drop of rain in sight. Hil & Will kicked off their wedding weekendwith classic candlepin bowling, tasty BBQ, great tunes, and all their favorite people at The Alley Bowling + BBQ! They spent their wedding day running barefoot in the sand, getting ready together at Hil’s childhood “Cape Escape”, dancing the Hora, and enjoying whoopie pies by the fire. After the sun went down and the stars came out, they capped off the night at a favorite local bar, Barley Neck, where Hil & Will whipped out a guitar and sang live at their afterparty!
The couple blended their families’ summer destinations for a quintessential New England celebration packed with color, joy, and love. From the custom pennants on each table showcasing Hil & Will’s favorite places, to the hand-painted Maine buoy escort cards, to the sprawling raw bar with local oysters, to the Cape Cod cranberry bourbon sours topped with Cape-shaped drink stirrers, to the colorful wave-shaped invitation suite, their thoughtful, joyful design vision was brought to life by the incredible work of the planning and floral teams.
