Eight years after first meeting on the dance floor at the legendary Harp in Boston, Kristin & Sandeep shared their first dance as husband and wife in the breathtaking White Mountains of New Hampshire. Earlier that year, Kristin and her family traveled to India for their Hindu celebration, and a few months later, Sandeep’s family made their first trip to the States for a Mt. Washington wedding surrounded by mountain views.
After a romantic first look on the wraparound porch of the historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel – one of the most iconic White Mountains wedding venues – gondolas brought the couple and their guests up to Bretton Woods for panoramic views of the White Mountains, NH. Kristin & Sandeep blended their cultures and love for nature into every detail – from patterned peach and gold kurtas and a green mountain-inspired invitation suite with Old Man of the Mountain stamps to delicate lily-of-the-valley accents on napkin rings, the aisle runner, robes, veil, cake, and hand-embroidered on Kristin’s dress. Kristin’s mom added sheer embroidered fabric to the top of her gown to echo the drapery of a sari – a perfect tribute to their fusion Mt. Washington wedding in New Hampshire.
