Y’all know how much I LOVE lists.
I’m crazy for the high of checking off those little boxes!
One July day, my notes and list app synced 10GB of stuff that wasn’t really there, wiped my month’s data 2 days into the month, and skyrocketed my phone bill through the roof. I had to delete it, and I was scrambling for a new way to organize my life. I don’t know how to function without a list telling me what I need to do and when!
Honestly, that crazy mistake was the best thing happened to me.
I found Todoist– the best to do list app EVER! 10 minutes after I downloaded it I was head over heels in love.
FAVE FEATURES:
Desktop, web, and mobile app versions that sync seamlessly
Assign times and dates to tasks
Add collaborators
Set reminders
Sync your calendar
Plan out the next 7 days
Create dropdown folders with smaller lists, called “projects”
I have a “Grocery” folder with Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Star Market, and Stop & Shop dropdowns for which items I want to get at each specific store that week!
I can organize my “Business” folder with “Newsletter ideas” “Backburner” “Published list” and more.
You can flag the most important things, and it counts your tasks completed.
By the end of the day, it congratulates you on achieving “Todoist Zero” and tells you to relax for the evening. SATISFYING!
Your tasks disappear when you complete them, so your list literally gets smaller as the day goes on and you can visually see your jumble of tasks going down. SUCH a nice feeling!
AND… DRUMROLL PLEASE… IT’S FREE!
I’d pay for it but I don’t even have to! They have a premium version but I’ve found that the free version has MORE than I even use.
