From their first date in medical school to their first dance in Manhattan, Danielle & Asim knew there was nowhere better to celebrate their love than in New York City. We planned for romantic Central Park wedding portraits before their rehearsal dinner, and after a gigantic mid-afternoon thunderstorm, the sun poked its head out just in time. They strolled hand in hand over Gapstow Bridge, snuggled by the pond, and ran through traffic on 59th Street, perfectly capturing that iconic New York City wedding photography energy before greeting their guests at Sarabeth’s.
On their wedding day at the iconic St. Regis New York, a five-star landmark hotel founded by John Jacob Astor IV in 1904, Danielle & Asim got ready in luxurious suites overlooking Fifth Ave – a dream setting for St. Regis wedding photos. Known for its gilded elegance, crystal chandeliers, and the famous King Cole Bar (home of the original Bloody Mary), the hotel offered the perfect blend of old New York history and modern luxury. They shared a first look in the grand marble hallways before stepping outside to capture timeless NYC wedding photos on the bustling streets of Midtown Manhattan. Inside, classic white and green florals adorned the ceremony space framed by high coffered ceilings, gold accents, and hand-painted murals. After a live jazz cocktail hour on the 20th floor and dinner in the Astor Ballroom, Danielle changed into a champagne silk slip dress paired with red-hot floral Manolos – the perfect chic look to dance the night away and end an unforgettable New York City wedding celebration.
