I make a lot of “simple” things that don’t require a full recipe, too –
Here are my kitchen staples!
-
Bone-in chicken thighs doused in honey mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder + roasted on 425 for a crispy delicious skin (can also do the same thing with BBQ sauce)
-
Grilled boneless chicken thighs seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and rotisserie chicken seasoning and grilled. Great alone or tossed in a salad, too
-
Chicken breasts (boneless or split) marinated in Italian dressing, minced garlic, and lemon slices for 2-3 days, add garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper, then oven baked at 425 until perfectly juicy and zesty
-
Steak tips marinated in teriyaki sauce and broiled in the oven
-
Mashed potatoes with the skins on, whole stick of butter, milk, salt, and pepper
-
Whole roasted sweet potatoes with brown sugar and cinnamon
-
Steamed green beans with honey mustard, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice
-
Caesar salad with Ken’s Caesar dressing, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and Chatham Village croutons
-
Sautéed spinach with garlic, onions, and thinly sliced caramelized lemons
-
Roasted cauliflower with maple syrup, raisins, capers, and olive oil
-
Garlic bread with butter, roasted garlic, onion powder, and everything bagel seasoning
-
Green bean casserole with French style green beans, brown sugar, and milk
