“He’s my world. I adore him.”
Gregory and James’ love story is a modern one – they met online. But… they joke that they met on the upper deck of a British Airways 747. Gregory grew up in Massachusetts, James grew up in a small village in Ireland. They hit it off right away on their first date in the South End of Boston… but didn’t kiss until the FOURTH date! Fast forward two dogs, a house, and three years later, Gregory “ambushed” James in the woods while walking their pups with a ring and a marriage proposal. He said yes – and in six months, they planned the wedding of the year.
They decided to get married at Grove in Rowley, MA. Gregory and James give new meaning to the phrase “HOLY SMOKES…” with a FOG CURTAIN DISCO CLUB ENTRANCE, smoke bombs, hundreds of candles to set the mood, an emotional ceremony live streamed to Ireland, surprise toasts from family members abroad, disco balls everywhere, and EXPLOSION of flowers! Gregory is a legendary floral designer in Boston with the best team ever, so this was an unforgettable wedding. They danced, laughed, cried, hugged, snuggled, and partied with the most special people in their lives. CONGRATULATIONS Team Jagory!!!
