When Fiona moved from England to the United States, she would spend time at the Boston Public Library every Monday. Fast forward 25 years, and the library started offering elopements in the bookshelf-lined Guastavino Room on Mondays for the first time ever! They snagged a coveted spot right away, it was fate. Eighteen years later, Fiona + Johnny, the Irish / English pair who were set up at a Bob Dylan concert for their first date, are finally MARRIED!
To future Boston Public Library elopement couples – the library is VERY strict about photography and you’d be lucky to walk in 3 steps before getting kicked out, so the fact that they are offering a way for couples to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the library without having 150 guests on a Saturday is sooo unique and incredible! 1 hour Monday slots for under 10 guests open 90 days in advance, so visit their website here and start planning your elopement there.
Thank you to the amazing vendors!
