Sasha and Nicole were the first night ceremony of the season at the Boston Public Library, and as the sun dropped over the soaring courtyard walls, they exhanged vows and became husband and wife. The two met while living in New York City, where they spent three years building a life together before Sasha rearranged their apartment one evening and surprised Nicole with a ring. She said yes, and their closest friends flew in that same night to celebrate.
Guests traveled in from all over the country, and the marble hallways echoed with ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ as everyone climbed the grand staircase to Bates Hall. Escort cards greeted them at the top, each one with the Chinese symbol for double happiness, and tucked inside were a hand-written note, scratch tickets, and a lucky penny from the couple. A few guests became winners before the first course was even served! Dinner followed surrounded the library’s books, art, and sculpture, a truly unforgettable setting that’s hard to match anywhere else.
Nicole wasn’t about to let the party end early – she traded her gown for block heels and a feathered mini dress while mini espresso martinis started making the rounds and the dance floor heated up. Huge congrats to Sasha and Nicole on a night to be remembered!
