Amy & Jason’s wedding day was what they fondly referred to as, “The most epic dinner party we’ll ever host,” carefully selecting food and wine for their summer garden party at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA that reflected their shared love of food and travel.
Amy is a food studies scholar and wine culturist with deep roots in community agriculture and sustainability, so a farm-to-table spirit was woven throughout the day – so much so that they chose their date intentionally to link up with peak tomato and corn season!
The two pair together perfectly like pasta and a great bottle of red wine – a tradition they savor every Friday in their home, with Amy on pasta making duty, Jason mixing cocktails, and their beloved pup Kensi at their feet. They extended that hospitality to each guest at their wedding, with details like seating charts carved into cheese boards, fig place cards, a local homemade gelato cart, and cookbooks for guests to sign.
Those thoughtful details full of love and intention were exactly what made this celebration feel so distinctly them – every detail was an invitation for their guests to feel as at home as they do at their own Friday night dinners. Cheers to Amy and Jason, and to many more epic dinner parties ahead!
