Sarah and Ben’s story started at summer camp almost a decade ago, where they first met as counselors. They hit it off, then spent three years navigating a Boston-Philly distance while Sarah finished school and Ben pushed her to make the move to Boston for law school. She did, and they moved in together in early 2020, settling into life together during a global pandemic. In May 2023, Ben proposed, and from there it was only a matter of time before Newport came calling.
Nine years after meeting, Sarah and Ben celebrated a spring wedding weekend at The Gardiner House in Newport, Rhode Island, embracing soft pastels and romantic garden-inspired florals throughout. In keeping with Jewish tradition, the ceremony took place after sundown, adding a quiet, candlelit intimacy to the evening. From bridesmaids dressed in pastel tones to mix-and-match linens in playful patterns, bow-tied table numbers with scalloped edges, and mini lamps scattered across the reception, every detail came together for a truly enchanting Newport wedding. Add in mouthwatering food and dreamy wallpaper throughout The Gardiner House, and it’s no wonder guests were enamored from start to finish.
