Three words to describe Kelsey and Pat, written by Kelsey and Pat, are as follows: Humor, Trust, Wine. They met at work, “which isn’t very 2019,” but was a happy and non-creepy thing. Wine-soaked work events helped Pat’s chances, and hurt Kelsey’s judgment *says Pat*. Almost 6 years later, and they’re best friends, peas in a pod, drinking buddies, and the best power walkers of NYC. One day, on the roof of their building, Pat casually said, “Hey! I love you. Will you marry me?” Kelsey fell over anyway. She said yes, and found her best friend and their families in their apartment for a surprise party.
They’re getting married on Cape Cod next fall, but are through and through New Yorkers. They know all of the best food spots, especially when it comes to Mexican food and sweets. They go through Spindrift and peanut butter cups like nobody’s business. ANYWAY. Because they’re getting married in MA, they wanted to have photos in their New York City apartment and around their neighborhood. We walked around the Flatiron District, popped a bottle of OneHope on the roof at sunset, and even got into the only gated park in all of Manhattan: Gramercy Park. But just don’t tell anyone. Pat supplied us with hot spiked seltzer (and champagne… and wine…) and Kelsey put together a GOODIE BAG for me of babka, cupcakes, cookies, crullers… what a couple. Kelsey & Pat everyone!!!
