HELLO NEW YORK CITY!!! It was a gorgeous week in Manhattan ☀️ 81 degrees, sunny, beautiful breeze, and Central Park all to ourselves Meg and Dan toured me all around their neighborhood (the Upper West Side), we oooh-ed and ahhh-ed at the brownstones, and ended in Central Park where they do a 7 MILE WALK every damn day
Meg and Dan met on their first day of college, hit it off immediately, then promised they wouldn’t date They made it to the end of the year, broke said promise, and started officially dating. In their decade of LOVE, they did long distance from North Carolina to Washington DC, moved in together in DC, moved to NYC when Meg enrolled at Columbia for her masters, and have settled in on the Upper West Side. Dan proposed to Meg in 2019 outside Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod right after a Turkey Trot
These best friends love a classic New York slice’a pizza from Sal & Carmine, running, hunting down the Mister Softee ice cream truck, vacationing on the Cape with their families, and lobster bakes on balmy summer nights They’re getting married at The Bowery Hotel in NYC this fall and we’re all SO EXCITED!!!
