Sean and Bryan met on the “dark gay web,” also known as OKCUPID. They grabbed drinks at Wink & Nod in Boston, followed by ANOTHER three bars. At the last bar, Sean was carded, which was unfortunate seeing as he had lost his ID that day. So, their first date quickly turned into watching Netflix, and it was love at first night for them. They’ve spent a good chunk of their relationship long distance between NYC, Boston, and Florida. After Sean finished his MFA, they decided to settle down in the South End in Boston. As they like to say, “Our “love story” is based in gin-drenched pizza with an extra side of bleu cheese to really round it out. We balance each other out in ways that are most remarkable.” They have a beautiful blue-eyed furry daughter, miss Phoebe Michelle, who keeps them laughing. Sean performs theater and Bryan is a very serious home baker. They love a good calzone, ice cream with extra sprinkles, and getting bronzed on the beach every summer.
Sean, Bryan, and Phoebe snuggled on their South End stoop before strolling through their neighborhood and popping champagne by the brownstones and fall leaves. Anchovies is their favorite South End Italian dive, so we ended there with truffle parmesan fries, martinis, and loads of bread. They’re getting married at the Beauport Hotel next summer – we’re so excited!
