Camille and Adam met six years ago at a college party, on Camille’s birthday! She was really digging Adam, so she worked her magic and got Adam to invite her to a formal – where, as they say, “true love ensued.” Years later, Adam proposed to Camille back at their alma mater at UMass Amherst! They adopted a dog named Elton, who is now their favorite and only child, live for $1 chicken on a stick from The Hong Kong (a Boston hidden gem), love hitting the slopes on a perfect winter day, watching soccer matches, laughing at the newest stand up comedy special on Netflix, and exploring the great outdoors together.
They planned an elopement right after their anniversary at Cambridge City Hall. Ceremonies are being performed indoors and outdoors at random, but if it’s indoors, there are no guests allowed, including photographers! So Camille and Adam had a VERY intimate ceremony just the two of them and the officiant, then were greeted outside by their families waiting for them. And of course, Elton!!! Camille rocked the “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” tradition. The gold ring you’ll see was Camille’s grandfather’s wedding band, who passed away from COVID last May. She honored his legacy on her wedding day by wearing it, which is engraved with her grandparents’ initials and their June 1956 wedding date. Her stylish BHLDN jumpsuit (with pockets!) was new, she wore a bracelet borrowed from her aunt, and rocked an adorable pair of blue shoes. Speaking of shoes – Adam, a dedicated sneakerhead, rocked a pair of J. Balvin x Air Jordan 1 Retro OG High ‘Colores Y Vibras’, and got lotsss of well-deserved compliments in the streets of Cambridge!
They took photos around Central Square before meeting up with their families for cake and champagne at home. And after that, it was time to road trip to the Berkshires for their honeymoon! CONGRATS Camille and Adam – here’s to a lifetime of being goofy, silly, loving life partners!
